Trash Reminder and Notice

NOTICE
Change in Garbage Pick-Up Day for Chenoa.

Instead of Tuesday and Wednesday, Garbage will be picked up on WEDNESDAY ONLY effective immediately. Containers can be put out 24 hours prior to pick-up.

Trash pick-up is on Wednesdays. Trash pick up is billed on the water bills. Garbage cans are to be placed within 2 feet of the road, no more than 24 hours prior to pick up and must be removed within 24 hours after pick up. NO yard waste, animal carcasses, major appliances, scrap metal, tires or used motor oil. Yard waste will be picked up on a separate day when they have time. Call City Hall for appliance and scrap metal pick up.

Attention: Due to the increase in animals getting into trash, dragging it around and leaving it free to blow all over town, the Commissioner of Health and Parks has deemed that all trash put out for collection MUST be in a can, preferably with a locking lid, to keep our City clean. All trash put out for collection that is not properly contained in a trash can WILL NOT be collected. Any questions can be directed to City Hall 815-945-7619.
