We started the celebration with a Kick Off Banquet on April 17th with Norm Eash as our speaker and Phil Rasmus as M.C., Peg Schickedanz and Jazzchocolat' furnished the music. June 5th we had a Car Show, Sweet Adelines, Sesquicentennial Baby and Couple being presented, winners of coloring contest awarded and Queen Contest. June 12th was the Fire Dept. Water Fights, Quilt Show, Historical Home and Site Tours with trolley, Neher Exhibit, Costume Judging and Bearded Men Contest followed by a Lip Sync/Talent Show. June 19th we had a Tractor Show, Home/Craft Show, Family Olympics and Ham Radio demonstration. June 20th the 33rd Regiment Band and Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln Impersonators performed at the Presbyterian Church. June 25th and 26th The Pageant "Through the Years II" written and directed by Evy Reis was held at the Presbyterian Church. We also printed and sold "Pickings From the Past and More", the last fifty years history and a list of Chenoa High School graduates from the beginning to 2003. A Sesquicentennial Plate was also sold along with an Event/Program Book and the script, videos and DVD's of the Pageant. The following links show pictures of most of the events.
