Annual memberships available to anyone interested in the past history of the Chenoa area.
The Historical Society hosts 4 programs a year. They are held the 1st Tuesday of September, November, March and June at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Heartland Bank.

The Historical Society also has a room in the lower level at Heartland Bank that displays memorabilia from the Chenoa Schools, which closed in 2004.

Chenoa High School Alumni Association
Chenoa High School Alumni Association has held a banquet on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend for many years. Many class reunions are held the weekend of the banquet.

Starting this year and continuing thereafter, a committee of alumni from the 30-year class will put together the banquet. This includes dinner, entertainment, a toast to class milestones and a lot of reminiscing.

This year's committee includes Laurie Sleeter, Lonette Worthey, Penny Clem, Deb Griffin, Dee Foor, and Debbie Johnson. New members are welcome each year!

Chenoa Women's Club
Club meets first Monday of the month (September-May) at Trinity Lutheran Church - 7:00 pm

Purpose of Women's Club - Spring city-wide garage sales, Food baskets at Thanksgiving, Ice Cream Social at 4th of July, 4th of July Float, Blood Drive, Breakfast with Santa, Christmas Tour of Homes, Upkeep of Chenoa Room at the Scott House and many other various donations throughout the community.
All women of the community are invited to attend.

Chenoa Arts & Travel Club
Club meets 2nd Tuesday of the month, at Trinity Lutheran Church - 2:00 p.m., no meetings in June, July and August
The purpose of the club is the cultural enlightenment of its members. We usually have a book review or travel review. Arts and Travel Club has existed since 1908.

Chenoa Senior Center (Peace Meals)
Come join us at Peace Meals daily at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Lunch is served daily at 11:45 a.m. Place your order the day before you plan to attend. Give Rosie a call at 815-945-5701 to place your order.

Chenoa 4th of July Committee

Space Age Pioneers 4H
Space Age Pioneers 4H meets the 3rd Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at St. Pauls Lutheran Church from Oct. - June. 4-H clubs are open to all youth ages 8 to 18 (by Sept. 1) Space Age Pioneers 4-H clubs organizes in October of each year. New members accepted until January.

4-H provides a chance to learn new things, develop new skills, travel to new places, experience new situations, make new friends, and most importantly have lots of fun.

Local Community Service projects include:
Plant flowers at the city library and city park
Community Sale and various 4th of July Committee activities
Collect and Recycle aluminum cans and plastic soda bottles
Coordinate Food drive for local food pantry

Chenoa 4-H Cloverbuds
A program for children Kindergarten - 2nd grade.
Generally meets the 3rd Sunday of the month, October - May, 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Cloverbud children explore areas of healthy living, earth environment, citizenship, plants and animals, consumer skills, science and technology, personality development and expressive arts.
