The 2006 Chenoa 4th of July Theme is "Red, White & Blue . . . Chenoa and you". The theme was created by Simon Schuler. Simon is a 1st grade student in Ms. Sutton's class. He felt this would be a good theme because "it's about the 4th of July colors, our town and the people". He received a $25.00 check from the committee and McDonald's gift certificate, he will also ride in the parade. The contest was open to all students in the grade school from grades K-4. Students that participated in the contest but were not chosen received a coupon for a free ice cream cone at McDonalds. Thanks to everyone for there help!
