Firecracker Road Rally

Winner of the 2006 Firecracker Road Rally is

Eric and Dawn Rhoda family, Jerry and Cindy Winterland

     The Chenoa 4th of July Committee held it's annual Road Rally as part of Chenoa's 4th of July Celebration. A drivers meeting was held at the Chenoa Park at 12:00 noon and the rally started at 12:30.

     There were about 49 cars signed up, with some vehicles holding as many as six to eight people. Each car was provided with a list of clues that they must find, check into several checkpoints along the way, arrive at the end of the rally and total up a score at the end to win.

     The winners this year, was the Eric Rhoda family and Jerry and Cindy Winterland. Their names will be added on a plate placed on the trophy.

     This year the rally ended at Jeff Todd's garden shed with a party. Some drivers finished, some quit and went home, some got lost, but it was evident that everyone had a good time and are looking forward to next year.
