Participants came from the following Illinois towns: Arlington Heights, Bloomington, Cary, Chenoa, East Peoria, Fairbury, Gridley, Hoffman Estates, Morris, Oakland, Plainfield, Princeton, Rantoul, and Woodridge.

All of those who participated in Chenoa's weekend activities received wristbands with Historic U.S. Route 66 - Chenoa - 2008 written on them, as well as a bag of red and white M & M's with Chenoa 2008 and Route 66 written on them.
